BERRY ALMOND COOKIES
Scrumptious Smoothie

INGREDIENTS:

4 cups brown rice flour
1 cup Artisana Organic Raw Almond Butter
2.5 cups xylitol (natural sweetener good for your teeth!)
6 tablespoons flaxseed meal
1 1/3 cups fruit puree (berry jam works!)
2 tablespoons natural, alcohol free Frontier Almond Flavoring
2 tablespoons Baking Powder
1 teaspoon sea salt

PREPARATION:

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Mix almond butter, 2 cups xylitol, almond flavoring, and flax to a creamy paste. Put other half cup of xylitol in a bowl. Add fruit puree and mix well. Add flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix to a soft dough. Roll into 1.5 inch balls, toss in bowl of xylitol, and press with a fork in a criss-cross pattern. Bake at 325 degrees for 15 minutes.
